Green Campus Award
🌿 Green Campus Award 2025 Organized by: District Forest Department, Ludhiana in association with CityNeeds
Recognizing Institutions Leading the Way in Environmental Stewardship
📜 Objective
To promote and recognize exemplary efforts by schools and colleges in creating sustainable, eco-friendly campuses and fostering environmental consciousness among students and staff.
📝 Eligibility
- Open to all educational institutions (schools and colleges) operating within Ludhiana district.
- Institutions must showcase on-ground environmental initiatives carried out during the 2024–25 academic year.
📹 Participation Requirements
- Submit a 2–3 minute video showcasing your Green Initiatives.
- Video must start with: “Join us to celebrate Van Mahotsav with District Forest Department. Presenting you initiatives by <Institution Name> towards Environment conservation”.
- Video must include the official thumbnail: ‘Vote for <Institution Name> to win Green Campus Award by District Forest Department & CityNeeds’ with both logos.
- Upload your video to: http://www.cityneeds.info/greencampus
- After approval, share your public voting link with hashtag #CityNeeds. Without hashtag, entry will be disqualified.
- Top entries by votes will proceed to jury evaluation.

📌 Important Notes
- The video should be original and in horizontal format.
- Use of voice-over or narration explaining initiatives is encouraged.
- Institutions must retain supporting documentation or photos for jury review.
